I missed Obama’s speech

I was in the cafeteria this morning and Kucinich says, “Hey pothead, you missed the President’s speech last night.” I felt like a deer in the headlights. I mean, I completely forgot about the big, important speech President Obama was giving on healthcare reform. It was very embarrassing; I think I’m the only congressman who wasn’t there. I was working in my office until the wee hours last night, and I guess the time just slipped away from me.

At least I didn’t shout out something stupid in the middle of the speech like that other dufus. Man I would hate to wake up the next morning and be him.
