National ‘Get High’ Day
I am proposing to my colleagues that we make July 4, 2010, a day where any U.S. citizen can legally smoke pot without facing arrest or prosecution. Just one day to start. If we wake up on July 5, and the world hasn’t come to an end, then let’s legalize it permanently.
I haven’t gotten much support from my colleagues on this idea. Kucinich kinda likes it, but hasn’t committed yet. But if I can get everyone who reads this to call their representative and demand a resolution creating National “Get High” Day, I think we can push this through. Just a thought.
What do you think?
