Sal Dennison was born April 1, 1964, in Akron, Ohio.  Although struggling with dyslexia most of his life, he was able to complete his advanced education at the University of Ohio, where he received an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts, and a Masters in Environmental Health.

First elected to Congress in 2008, he has already introduced his first legislation. HR 4885, “The Highway Improvement and Pot Legalization for Representative Dennison Act,” passed both houses of Congress and was signed into law by President Obama earlier this year.
